First semester exams for SLM Master

The final exams of the first semester of the ILHAM-EC Master in SLM has started on Saturday, 5th January, 2019. Student learning outcomes were assessed for the following courses: i) English for scientists and proposal writing, ii) Agroecosystem; iii) Advanced Land degradation; iv) GIS and spatial analysis; and v) Biostatistical Analysis.

All students succeeded and could attend the lessons of the second semester.

ILHAM-EC master in SLM second semester

On Saturday, 9th February, the second semester started at the Universities of Cairo and Alexandria. In this semester, teachers from the 4 Egyptian University delivered lectures on Spectroscopy, Economics of Land Degradation, Biodiversity and Scientific writing. In addition, seminars in Sustainable Land Management were carried on Saturday.

Master was the chance to develop students' skills and strenghten the relationships among them and teachers from different Universities thus increasing the opportunity to future collaborations and employment

Master in SLM: final exams

At the end of April, students were engaged in their final exames for the first year of Master. The exams were carried out following the calendar below:

- Saturday, 20 April, Economics of Land Degradation.

- Monday, 22 April, Research Methods.

- Wednesday, 24 April, Advanced Spectroscopy.

- Tuesday, 30 April, Biodiversity.

 All students passed their exams and could participate in 3 month traineeship at the University of Sassari, Italy.
