The new joint Egyptian Inter-university postgraduate Master in Sustainable Land Management (SLM) consists of 120 ECTS (90 ECTS for a group of compulsory and elective courses and 30 ECTS for the preparation of a scientific thesis).
It is divided as follows:
- Foundation Module/Courses: The first year aims at providing the cognitive and technological skills of students and enable him/her to study specialized courses. The program includes basic compulsory courses following 7 general areas: 45 ECTS courses divided into 3 fields, 12 ECTS for training module (special mobility strand) and 3 ECTS for English for scientists;
- Specialized Module: The academic advisor instructs students to choose the specialized module (among 3). 3 elective courses (18 ECTS) will be then studied to fulfil the students' needs regarding the research skills including a course on Research Methods and Scientific Communications (3 ECTS)and Seminars
